Shop of the Week – The South African Store Atlanta
The South African Store Atlanta, also known as Cape Food & Beverage, grew from a small concept to a big idea. Nic Odendaal, president of Cape Food & Beverage, frequently traveled internationally and thought it necessary to bring a little taste of home to South Africans living abroad.
They started with a few essential South African goods like Ouma Rusks and Bar Ones and expanded their offering to include boerewors, biltong, Droewors as well as their own line or Peri Peri products.
The shop in Atlanta is operated by Rob Roome and assistants Jenny Clayton and Katryn Fraser. The team welcome suggestions and enquiries from across the US.
