The shop was opened by Capetonians, Helen and Winston Lee, who landed in Vancouver in 1993. With so many South Africans living in Canada, the opportunity to soothe their homesickness with some safa sights and flavours.

Although the shop started off in Vancouver, it has since expanded to serve the whole of Canada as well as the USA – and also expanded the range of products they offer.
