Let the countdown begin for the 2015 Rugby World Cup

June 11, 2015

It’s just 99 days until the first ball is kicked in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The competition is expected to generate £650 million (R12.3BN) in revenue and could do more for the British economy than the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Rugby is now big business!

The excitement is mounting as is the talk about who will lift the William Webb Ellis Trophy.

Can anybody overhaul the mighty All Blacks, who’ve lost just 2 of the 42 games they’ve played since taking the honours in 2011? Will the English lion roar on home turf? Can the Celtic nations come over the border and go a step better than ever before? Will the real French team turn up?

We all have an opinion, but as South African’s we stand right behind the green and gold of our beloved Springboks. To get into the swing of things take a look at the new promotional video produced by the South African Rugby Union….. expect goose bumps!
