Kenyan-born, Chris Froome was brought up in South Africa. Under a British license on the basis of his passport and father’s and grandparents’ country of birth, lives in the UK where he’s been cycling for Britain since 2008.
As winner of the 2013 Tour de France Chris needs no introduction – he’s been in the hearts and minds, and on television and tablet screens of billions of people the world over, while making Kenyans and South Africans proud.
