Shop of the Week – Fred’s Fine Foods

Fred’s Fine Foods started with owners Fred and Nellie’s dream of starting a new life abroad. Having produced South African foods like biltong, baking and fresh meats for over 13 years, it just seemed like the perfect business opportunity to continue this trade when they moved to New Zealand in 2001.

The business opened their doors in May 2002 with the focus of delivering quality products and excellent service to their local clients. Online sales and courier services were swiftly added and a few years later the shop expanded to double the floor space. Fred’s fine foods has since opened an additional branch in Howick and has a factory shop in Silverdale.
